What is Mental Health Rehabilitation?
Texas Care offers mental health rehabilitation services to children, young adults, adolescents, adults, and their families. In most cases, these services are provided within the individuals usual environment such as their community, home, school, or other location that is appropriate for the needs of the individual and their family.
Mental health rehabilitation services are designed to restore functioning of an adult diagnosed with significant psychiatric disorder or a child or adolescent with a significant emotional and/or behavioral disturbance.
Mental Health Rehabilitative Services May Include:
- Medication management
- Psychosocial rehabilitative services
- Skills training and development
- Crisis intervention services

Joining Texas Care Center, LLC as a franchisee provides a unique opportunity to offer a comprehensive range of community-based behavioral health services. Our franchisees have the capacity to provide the following services:
1. **Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP):** Structured treatment interventions providing a higher level of care for individuals facing acute behavioral health challenges.
2. **Life Skills Training:** Equipping individuals with practical skills for navigating daily life, including communication, problem-solving, time management, and coping strategies.
3. **Direct Care Services:** Offering person-centered care delivered by a team of qualified mental health professionals, under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor.
4. **Wraparound Services:** Providing holistic support to individuals and their families, addressing multifaceted needs within their unique social and environmental contexts.
5. **Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services:** Specialized programs supporting individuals on their journey towards recovery, incorporating evidence-based approaches to treatment.
6. **Individual Therapy:** Offering confidential sessions for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges while working towards personal goals.
Please note that Texas Care Center, LLC clinics are currently available exclusively in the state of Texas, with regions filling up quickly. Treatment planning mental health rehabilitative services are part of a client’s treatment plan and are intended to:
- Reduce a client’s functional impairments resulting from serious mental illness for adults
- Reduce a serious emotional disturbance in children
- Restore a client to their optimal functioning level in the community
Eligibility Criteria for Participation in Community Support Services:
- Participants must be at least 3 years old.
- Participants must be enrolled in and actively covered through Texas Medicaid (see list of accepted Medicaid plans below).
- Participants must reside in our services areas
- Participants must have a qualifying mental health diagnosis and participate in an initial assessment.
